NEVA Exhibition is the leading commercial maritime fair in Eastern Europe and the post-Soviet space and one of the world’s ten largest fairs in its field. The Exhibition showcases achievements and trends in development, production, maintenance and overhaul of marine and river engineering. It promotes both international transfer of technology and localisation of shipbuilding, including manufacturing of ship and port equipment and systems. Following an order of the government of the Russian Federation, the NEVA Exhibition & Conference has been held since 1991 with the support of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Government of St Petersburg, the Government Marine Collegium, the Federal Agency for Fishery, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and the Maritime Council of St Petersburg.

The NEVA Exhibition & Conference business programme covers the most important issues for the international professional community and includes conferences, seminars, round tables, meetings and presentations featuring representatives of the ministries of the Russian Federation, international industry organisations, leading companies from Russia and abroad, research institutes, design offices and institutions of higher education.
With over 3,500 participants, the NEVA-2019 business programme offered 39 field-specific events.

NEVA-2021 participants will be able to visit Saint Petersburg on an e-visa.
To obtain a visa, foreign citizens will need to fill out an application on the special-purpose website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation no later than four calendar days before the intended date of entry into the Russian Federation. A visa can be obtained for up to 30 calendar days with the allowed period of stay in the Russian Federation of up to 8 days. Foreign citizens entering the Russian Federation on e-visas will be able to move freely within the territory of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region.
